Anvil Works has limited facilities as a machine shop - there is no metal lathe or milling machine, nor are there foundry facilities for casting molten metals. If projects require machining or casting, this work is subcontracted elsewhere. As a creative workshop, The Anvil Works studio was not designed for production runs to manufacture a line of products. The tools, equipment and layout do not lend themselves to the fabrication of security bars, fire escapes or other utilitarian and structural applications. Instead, the emphasis is on creative and unique projects requiring modern and traditional craftsmanship and a clear understanding of design concepts and aesthetic principles.
